Shamanic Energy Healing

What is Shamanic Energy Healing?

Shamanic Energy healing is an ancient form of healing that has been used throughout the world for centuries. It is a holistic approach to healing and practitioners work with energy, spirit guides, and the natural elements to help restore a person’s balance and harmony.

Benefits of Shamanic Energy Healing:

  • Removal of energetic imbalances:Shamanic energy healing techniques can remove energy blockages from the body’s energy field, through techniques such as extraction and auric surgery and may assist in alleviating symptoms of physical illnesses. They can be used as a multi-pronged approach to an illness and are fully compatible with conventional medicine and other integrative healing techniques.
  • Emotional Healing:It can help process and release emotional traumas, reduce stress, and promote emotional well-being.
  • Spiritual Healing:Shamanic energy healing can help individuals reconnect with their spiritual essence, find purpose, and experience a sense of wholeness.
  • Personal Growth:It can facilitate personal growth, increase self-awareness, and empower individuals to live more fulfilling lives.
  • Relationship Healing:Shamanic energy healing can also be applied to address relationship issues and promote healthier connections with others.

Techniques that are used in Shamanic Energy Healing:

  • Opening up a sacred space : At the beginning of the session, the practitioner opens up the healing space and invites their guides to come in to work with them in sacred partnership throughout the healing.
  • Carrying out a diagnostic journey : This involves the practitioner going into an altered state of consciousness though drumming to journey to the spirit world to gain wisdom about what issues are affecting the client and what needs to be done to help the client.
  • Extraction and Infusion:The removal of negative or misplaced energy including recurrent negative thoughts, which have taken on a form of their own and have become part of someone’s personality. Following the removal of this energy, the practitioner fills the space with light, enabling the client to feel lighter and more positive.
  • Sound Healing: This is used to help to release blocked energy. The practitioner tunes into the blocked energy and uses their voice, a drum or a rattle to provide sounds that resonate with the energy blockage and encourage its release.
  • Auric and Psychic Surgery:Our auras hold the blueprint for our physical body and what is present in the template layer of our aura then manifests in our physical body. By carrying out auric surgery, issues presenting themselves in the template layer of our aura can then be worked on and brought back into alignment. This is then mirrored in the physical body.
  • Relationship cord cleaning:When a person has an issue with a relationship either with a person or with something else such as food or alcohol, this can be helped by cleaning the energetic cords that exist between them. This can help to release things such as repressed anger or resentment and can foster greater understanding.
  • Intention Alignment:This assists a person to remember their true identity, strengthening their connection with their life propose and aligning them with it. It also helps to align their physical body and posture.
  • Roots regression: This involves leading the client back to find the root of any ongoing issue, addiction or illness, to enable it to be healed.
  • Soul retrieval:If we do not live in alignment with our true nature, or if we suffer shock or trauma, we can lose a part of our soul. A Shamanic practitioner can perform a Shamanic journey to find and bring back that soul part and safely return it to the client as part of a Shamanic healing. It is important that this happens, as Shamanic practitioners believe that the space left when that soul part is lost can become filled by illness, depression, addictions and negative energies. When the soul part is returned the client can often experience positive benefits, such as feeling more themselves, more empowered and positive and more emotionally balanced.
  • Power Animal retrieval:A power animal is a spirit guide that can support the client, by providing them with a specific ‘gift’ or ‘power’ that will help them in their everyday life. For example, someone with low self-esteem may need a power animal which brings confidence or courage. The Shamanic Practitioner will embark on a journey to find this power animal and bring it back to the client.
  • Compassionate de-possession or ‘spirit’ release:The phenomenon of a spirit inhabiting another person’s body is a lot more common than people think. A spirit who has been unable to successfully cross over to the other side can enter a human body to live off their life force. This can happen for many reasons e.g. they died suddenly in an accident and had no time to prepare themselves or they may be so attached to someone they don’t want to leave them. Sometimes they do not even realise that they are in a human body. This form of secondary existence is not beneficial either for the inhabiting spirit or for the person whose body they inhabit. For the host, it can cause confusion, changes in personality, tastes and preferences, anxiety, dark or negative thoughts, confusion and even physical symptoms. To perform a spirit release, the practitioner uses an interview technique to compassionately dialogue with the spirit and to gently move it on to where it needs to be. The practitioner then provides a healing session to the client and offers suggestions for aftercare. Symptoms of possession may include uncharacteristic negative self -talk, sudden anxiety or depression, physical issues for which no cause can be found, a sudden desire to drink more or take drugs, sudden changes in sexual preferences and personal tastes, a period of extreme bad luck, character changes or even a physical or emotional reaction when reading about this.
  • Unravelling of karmic patterns, ancestral patterns and ‘curses’:This involves the identification and unravelling of any karmic or ancestral patterns or curses, which may be negatively influencing your life often without you even being aware of them. One example of this is when, over generations, a family consistently holds the belief that they will remain in poverty. An example of a more complex and intentional curse may involve someone deliberately wishing ill on a person or family line, for example intending that they never have a day of happiness in their lives. Curses can be extremely toxic and need to be dealt with extremely carefully. A Shamanic practitioner will seek to identify and unravel any patterns or curses that are affecting a client’s ability to live their best lives.
